Lunchism

What's the big idea?

The idea is simple. Let's make a food-review website that makes sense, that recommends places right around where you work, that knows if there are specials during your lunch hour, that makes smart decisions about other places you may like. Welcome to Lunchism, the religion of lunch. R'amen.

This is the development blog. We'll be discussing new advancements, snags, and promotions throughout the process. You can subscribe to the RSS if you'd like. Thanks for reading.

Lunchism will premiere in Portland

We’ve already begun data collection—ahem—at a steady pace so we have a good section of the core downtown reviewed, at least marginally, for a first wave of beta testing in a few months’ time. It’s really been a painstaking process, and I have to give a shout-out to the best secret I’ve come across in my culinary endeavours: Tábor Restaurant, home of the schnitzelwich. Alas, our gastronomic adventures do not allow me to linger, but that is a fine sandwich.

If you’d like to help with early collection of data, please email Kyle.
